Established in 2002, Beach Tennis Aruba provides an impressive facility featuring 16 well-maintained courts, a well-stocked bar, showers, and locker rooms for its 1000+ local players. The organization hosts weekly league competitions for its 650 active members and monthly tournaments, which continue to boost the sport's popularity and momentum on the island. Getting to Aruba Entry Requirements Online ED CARD All travelers coming to Aruba must complete an online Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) card The ED card is mandatory. All non-resident travelers, including visa required countries, are required to obtain an online travel qualification prior to being granted permission for boarding. See here: https://edcardaruba.aw Yellow Fever Vaccination If you are traveling from South America to Aruba, including Brazil, you are required to have a yellow fever vaccination and provide proof of vaccination upon entry into Aruba. LOCATION The Aruba Beach Tennis Open is set up on the Bushiri Public Beach, conveniently located along the L.G. Smith Boulevard, 10 minutes drive from the Queen Beatrix International Airport. There is ample parking space across the streets for those want to come by car as well as a designate bicycle parking. Bushiri Beach is centrally located and all major hotels are within a 10 minutes car drive from the event location.

RULES & REGULATIONS I. TOURNAMENTS Aruba Open Beach Tennis Championships 2026 offers various tournaments NON-ITF TOURNAMENTS (registration deadline October 31) Men's and women's singles (pro, advanced, intermediate, beginners & masters (50+)) Amateur mixed doubles (advanced, intermediate & beginners level) Team cup (advanced, intermediate & beginners level). Not for ITF participants! Amateur men's and women's doubles (advanced, intermediate & beginners level) Men's and women's masters doubles (50+) Juniors boys and girls doubles 10 & Under, 12 & Under, 14 & Under and 16 & Under Consolation tournament for eliminated teams of the Sand Series qualifying draw Consolation tournament for eliminated teams of the BTJ100 first round main draw ITF BEACH TENNIS TOURNAMENTS (registration deadline according to ITF rules) ITF BTJ100 Juniors boys and girls doubles 18 & Under ITF MIXED DOUBLES qualifying draw (32) ITF MIXED DOUBLES main draw (24) ITF SAND SERIES 100 Qualifying draw ITF SAND SERIES 100 Main draw ITF SAND SERIES 100 Bonus draw IT IS ONLY ALLOWED TO REGISTER ONCE FOR EACH TOURNAMENT! This means 1 registration in men's and women's doubles (with exception of Juniors and Masters) 1 registration in mixed doubles 1 registration in singles 1 registration in team cup (participants of the ITF Sand Series doubles can NOT participate in the team cup!) II. MINIMUM AGE PER TOURNAMENT Singles: Born before January 1, 2009 - Masters: Born before January 1, 1976 Mixed doubles: 14 years. However, at least 1 player of each team must be 16 years or older Juniors 10U Category – born between 1 January 2016 – 31 December 2018 Juniors 12U Category - born between 1 January 2014 – 31 December 2016 Juniors 14U Category - born between 1 January 2012 – 31 December 2014 Juniors 16U Category - born between 1 January 2010 – 31 December 2012 ITF BTJ100 Juniors 18U - born between 1 January 2008 – 31 December 2010 ITF SAND SERIES 100 Qualifying draw (and consolation tournament): 14 years ITF SAND SERIES 100 Main draw (and consolation tournament): 14 years Amateur doubles: Born before January 1, 2011 and at least 1 player was born before January 1, 2009 Masters doubles: Both players born before January 1, 1976 III. TOURNAMENT FORMATS 1. Singles a) Pro singles: Monday round robin group stage of 4 teams each, the numbers 1 of each group continue to play in the main draw on Tuesday. Main draw of 24, top 8 is direct accepted. Match format: 1 set till 7, with tiebreak at 6-6 b) Amateur singles: Round robin group stage of 4 teams each, the numbers 1 and 2 of each group continues to play in the elimination rounds. Match format: 1 set till 7, with tiebreak at 6-6 2. Mixed doubles a) ITF mixed doubles: Main draw of 18 direct accepted teams, 4 qualifiers and 2 wild cards. Qualifying draw of 32 teams. Match format: best of 3 short sets till 4, with a super tiebreak till 10 as the 3rd set. b) Amateur mixed doubles: Round robin group stage of 4 teams each, the numbers 1 and 2 of each group continues to play in the elimination rounds. Match format: 1 set till 7, with tiebreak at 6-6 3. Team Cup a) All levels team cup: Max 4 players per team. Round robin group stage of 3 teams. Each group match consists of 1 set men’s doubles, 1 set women’s doubles and 1 set mixed doubles. All sets are played till 6, with a tiebreaker till 7 at 6-6. The numbers 1 and 2 of each group qualify for the elimination rounds. During elimination rounds, mixed doubles is only played if necessary. Participants of the ITF Sand Series tournament can not play team cup! 4. Juniors Doubles 10 & Under, 12 & Under, 14 & Under and 16 & Under a) Round robin group stage of 4 teams each, followed by elimination rounds (one day tournaments). All matches are 1 set till 7, with tiebreak at 6-6 5. Masters Doubles a) Men and women: Round robin group stage of 4 teams each, the numbers 1 and 2 of each group continues to play in the elimination rounds. Match format: 1 set till 7, with tiebreak at 6-6 6. Amateur Doubles a) All levels men and women: Round robin group stage with 2 matches on Friday and 2 matches on Saturday on Friday, November 15 and Saturday November 16. Numbers 1 and 2 of each group continues to play in the elimination rounds on Sunday. Match format: 1 set till 7, with tiebreak at 6-6 7. ITF BTJ100 18 & Under a) Boys and girls: Up to 32 teams with players born between 1 January 2008 – 31 December 2010 will be accepted into the main draw. If more teams register before the deadline on October 31, 14:00 hours, local time, a qualifying tournament will be held on Thursday November 13. Sign in for the main draw is on Thursday November 13, between 16:00 and 18:00 hours. Participants of the BTJ100 are also allowed to participate in the Sand Series 100, but NOT in the amateur doubles tournament. Match format 2 tie-break sets till 6, with a match tie-break till 10 at 1 set all. 8. ITF SAND SERIES 100 Doubles Qualifying Tournament a) Men and women: 41 direct acceptances and 7 wild cards. Sign in on Tuesday November 11 between 16:00 and 18:00 hours, local time. 8 teams can qualify for the main draw. First and second round are played on Wednesday November 12., third round on Thursday November 13. Consolation tournament (first roun losers) starts on Thursday November 13. All matches are 2 tie-break sets till 6, with a match tie-break till 10 at 1 set all. 9. ITF SAND SERIES 100 Doubles Main Draw a) Men and women: 20 direct acceptances, 8 qualifiers and 4 wild cards. Sign in on Wednesday November 12 between 16:00 and 18:00 hours, local time. R32 on Thursday November 13, R16 on Friday November 14, quarter finals on Saturday November 15. Semifinals and finals on Sunday November 16. Bonus tournament for teams eliminated in the 1st round starts on Friday November 16. All matches are 2 tie-break sets till 6, with a match tie-break till 10 at 1 set all.
